These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services and equipment provided by 1031 Events Inc. (“1031 Events,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By submitting a booking, paying a deposit, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
We proudly serve clients across Brooklyn and the greater NYC area, offering party and event rentals, photobooth experiences, and related services.
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and inventory.
The remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before delivery or event start time.
Accepted payment methods include credit card, Zelle, e-check, and cash.
Sales tax (8.875%) is collected on all taxable items and services within New York State.
All quotes are subject to inventory and date availability.
Standard rental delivery: Friday 8 AM – 2 PM
Standard rental pickup: Monday 8 AM – 2 PM
Same-day delivery or pickup is available upon request for an additional fee.
Delivery fees are based on distance and timing.
South Brooklyn zones: minimum order $100
Further Brooklyn zones: minimum $150
Manhattan: $125–$200 delivery fee
Queens/Bronx: minimum $350 standard delivery, $550 same day
If your order does not meet the minimum, a surcharge will be added.
Self-pickup orders require a cash security deposit (amount varies by order).
Deposits are refunded upon return of equipment in good condition.
Late returns are charged the daily rental rate per item.
Equipment must be used as intended and in a safe, appropriate manner.
1031 Events is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from misuse, negligence, or unsafe conditions.
Items must be kept clean, dry, and secure.
Clients assume full responsibility for loss, theft, or damage during the rental period.
Tents and canopies are for light weather protection only and will not be set up in heavy wind or rain.
1031 Events reserves the right to cancel or postpone setup if conditions are unsafe. Partial or full credits may be offered at our discretion.
Photobooths are delivered and set up at the time of your event.
Clients must provide a flat, covered surface and power source (or rent a power bank if needed).
Photobooth attendants, if included, remain for the duration of the event. Attentants working longer than 6 hours will be required to take a 30 minute break.
Events extending past 11:00 PM are subject to a $50/hour after-hours fee.
Early setup or late breakdowns must be arranged in advance.
If a photobooth experiences technical issues that prevent operation, 1031 Events will offer a partial refund or event credit at its discretion.
Clients must not move, alter, or modify equipment once installed.
1031 Events carries a $2 million general liability insurance policy.
We can add your venue as an additional insured upon request, provided at least 7 days before the event.
1031 Events is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss caused by improper use of rented items or failure to follow provided instructions.
Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the event may receive a partial credit toward a future booking.
No cancellations, date changes, or major adjustments are permitted within 72 hours of the event.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Refunds or credits may be issued in cases of extreme weather, emergencies, or equipment failure, at the discretion of 1031 Events.
Photos or videos taken at your event may be used for marketing purposes unless you opt out in writing before the event date. We respect your privacy and will never use sensitive or private content without permission.
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Kings County, New York. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial.
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our business or laws. The latest version will always appear on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
